+Can MCPLink connect to an existing website?
Yes. We normally integrate through your existing API or a small protected adapter. Where no suitable API exists, we can design the required integration layer as part of the engagement.
+Will the AI receive direct database access?
Usually no. The MCP server exposes purpose-built tools and applies authorization before calling your application or data layer. This is safer and easier to maintain than unrestricted database access.
+Can one server work with ChatGPT and Claude?
Often yes. MCP is an open standard, but each client has its own connection, authentication and product requirements. We test and document every client included in your scope.
+Can users approve an action before it runs?
Yes. We can design review and confirmation steps for write, financial, publishing, deletion or other sensitive actions, while keeping safe read-only lookups efficient.
+Do you provide hosting and maintenance?
Yes. We can deploy and monitor the remote MCP endpoint, manage releases and help evolve tools without breaking existing clients. We can also hand over a documented deployment to your team.
